Anyone in real need for Christmas gifts for their child(ren) TRULY SHOULD GO TO... The United Way and sign up for Toys For Tots for this year! They have extended the deadline for Santa Rosa County (idk about Escambia) until Thursday, December 11th! They were a blessing for us last year and without them we would not have had ANY CHRISTMAS for our little 2 1/2 MONTH OLD guy who had very few toys as everything had to be left behind in a rush to get out!! The process is not painful, free, simple and we are all running out of time! My POINT IS that there is an available, legitimate Charity (United Way AND Toys For Tots) that WANT TO GIVE CHILDREN IN NEED A FANTASTIC CHRISTMAS!!!! Not to mention the many random people who also WANT to help the children through their generous donations of brand new toys - our family used to go to a store every year for the sole purpose of the donations (the US Marine Corps collected for TFT)!!! Sometime we, as a society, WANT TO DO A SELFLESS ACT OF KINDNESS - Christmas is about giving (if you can)! Unfortunately, things have changed for us as with many others lately! I hope I have not offended anyone. We are still in the same boat! I am simply reiterating what is available for a childs Christmas!!!
