Anyone interested in WWII, this is THE documentary series to watch. Its likely the best documentary series ever made on any topic. Its not appropriate for middle schools or elementary school. It might be appropriate for grades 11 or 12, if the viewers are mature enough for the violent content and sometimes brutal imagery. It puts all other World War II documentaries to shame. Its very thorough as far as visual history. Youd want to back it up with additional reading about the war of course. I wish I had my current appreciation for history when I was in school :) You get to a point where your overall knowledge makes puzzle pieces fall into place much easier. You get an idea of the feel of the times and not just facts.
