Anyone notice how Edward Van Sloan lost his original characters accent entirely in the opening scenes of Draculas Daughter last night? Also his character was credited as Dr. Von Helsing, not Dr. Van Helsing like in the original and the book. And the staircase scene at the beginning was an entirely different set from the original. Youd think they would have studied the original film before making a sequel. Also, since he needed a defense for his crime where were the Sewards, Jonathan Harker and Mina who lived next door?
