Anyone recognize this little horror? Frankly, its one of the reasons I love Texas... we dont have this evil, beast-of-a-thorn plant. I cant tell you how many times, as a kid, my bike tires got a flat or how many shoes were ruined by having a hundred little spikes broken off in the soles or when I stepped on one with bare feet! I used to be able to see the face of the devil with horns in each thorn. (Pic taken in Bountiful, Utah, parking lot) They are called Puncturevine or Bullhead Stickers for a reason. PS One reason I DONT love Texas is that we have Chiggers and Fire Ants. Be thankful if you dont.
