Anyone want to come to the bookstore this afternoon, between 1 and 2pm, to see my landlord come in, with police escort, to turn off ceiling lights that appear to be working fine? We had trouble with them shutting off on Friday night, during our Krampus event, the night before Dickens, but they came back on. Kevin & I both expressed concern about possible wiring issues, but also readily acknowledge that we are not electricians. Our landlord says he is shutting off those lights until WE get them professionally fixed.... the question, perhaps, boils down to whether or not theres something wrong with the fixture, the wiring, or just someone messing with the lights during our events.... AND who is responsible for checking into the issue. It seems to me that just shutting the lights off is a bit Draconian AND effects BOTH businesses that use those lights.
