Anyone who risks their life to save another is a true hero, and all of the firefighters pictured above are exactly that. Their compassion is evident in not only the fact that they rescue animals, but that they spend time with them afterwards to provide comfort, warmth, and love when they need it most. Just like all the animal lovers and pet parents out there, firefighters treat furry friends like family, and for that, we are extremely grateful.
