Anyone with a basic understanding of American history knows George Wallace was a Democrat and Ronald Reagan was born in north Illinois before moving out west to pursue an acting career. Anyone, that is, except for the journalists at Salon.Com. They recently ran an article titled Southern Republicans simply don’t want minorities to vote. Of course, the article fails to explain how Southern Republicans seek to suppress minority voting, which must be a huge surprise to Allen West and Herman Cain [both black Republicans born in the south]. And as if that wasnt silly enough, the article starts off by using George Wallace and Ronald Reagan as examples. They also tried to use Nixon as an example, which is incredible because he was born in California and he died in New York. This reminds me of that college in Chicago [Northeastern Illinois University] who are [as we speak] displaying a plaque on their campus that reads Abraham Lincoln, Democrat.
