Anyone with information on the suspect in this video clip is asked to contact Detective Valerie Hemmila at 508-778-3818 or hemmilav@barnstablepolice Press Release September 26, 2014 On 9/25/14, Barnstable Police Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the TD Bank on Main Street in Osterville. A preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 5:20 PM, a single suspect entered the bank wearing a mask and sunglasses. The suspect approached one of the tellers, made a threatening statement, and demanded money. After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspect left the bank. The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, brown/black hair, approximately 5’10” tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing jeans and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. Surveillance video obtained by Detectives captured the suspect entering and exiting the bank. Still shots and a brief video clip of the suspect are attached to this press release. Detectives are also interested in talking with two potential witnesses to include the operators and/or owners of two motor vehicles that were driving by the bank at the time of the robbery (5:20PM). The vehicles are described as a dark colored full size SUV such as a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, and a full size pick-up truck with diamond plate tool boxes on each side of the bed.
