Anzhi Makhachkala have reportedly made a €35 million bid to sign talented Milan forward Stephen El Shaarawy. The 20-year old who burst on the scene for the Rossoneri last season, has been the subject of much transfer debate all summer long, with numerous clubs vying for his signature. Milan has time and time again quelled such rumours, yet the latest bid may be too good to resist for the San Siro side. Both Il Mattino and Il Giorno reported the €35 million offer, with the latter suggesting that Cameroon forward Samuel Eto’o may also be included in the deal. Despite being confirmed as Milan’s number 92 for next season, El Shaarawy seemed to have lost his touch towards the latter part of last season, scoring only once since the arrival of Italian strike partner Mario Balotelli. This has left many questioning the effectiveness of the pair working as a striking duo, meaning that Milan could indeed accept the latest bid for their wanted forward, who may be replaced before the start of the upcoming season. El Shaarawy scored a total of 19 goals in the 46 matches he played for the Rossoneri in the 2012/13 season.
