". . . Apocalypse is a frame of mind . . . A belief. A surrender to inevitability. It is dispair for the future. It is the death of hope . . . And in that kind of environment there is more suffering, more pain, more desperation." - Jim Butcher We Christians cannot afford to adopt the Apocalypse mindset, and we cannot deny what scripture says. So we attend to the necessary work of today. We beat back the darkness where we are. We ease the suffering around us and tend to those in pain. We defuse the desperation where we can while looking beyond the Apocalypse towards those precious promises we all hold in common. This is hard and requires that we engage our Hope, Faith, and Love.
