*** Apologies for the fact that Im going to be posting about this often for the next few days. This is just a preview *** This guitar was the second guitar that I owned while playing in the Cruxshadows. After the release of our first album, I needed something a little more sleek and easy to play, so I bought this Ibanez Roadstar II second hand at the local Music Exchange in Tallahassee Florida. The volume knobs were removed to prevent me from accidentally hitting them and changing my volume while playing. We had just released our debut album Night Crawls In... and were working on new material for a new record. It was with this very guitar that well-known songs such as Monsters, Satellite, and of course the eternal show closer, Marilyn, My Bitterness, were written. Basically, with the purchase of this guitar, The writing for the entire Telemetry of a Fallen Angel album commenced. It was also it used to record the entire record. Sometime around 2005, I was composing music for my current act, Sapphire Rebellion, and I placed this guitar on its stand and left the room. I heard a thud. The guitar had fallen and hit the floor. After inspecting it closely, I realized that the wood surrounding one of the tremolo screws had cracked and would no longer hold the screw in the body. The guitar has since been in its case untouched since that day. Although it is probably unfixable, it will have some sentimental value to a Cruxshadows fan. I hope by auctioning it off, it will find a good home either as a fan collectors piece, or for the parts that are still working.
