Apologies for the lack of posts, by the way. Ive been through the ringer when it comes to attorneys and phone calls and research and still, I have been unable to find an advocate to speak for Gabe in court, which is tomorrow morning. I pray that his detailed diagnosis from Vanderbilt serves as enough for the judge and that we can move forward from all of this and that all focus can be put on my son in the way of his therapies and treatments instead of legalities and whatnot. I ask of you all to please, please pray for me to have strength and reassurance in that courtroom tomorrow (I am unashamed to say that I am very afraid), and that all works out as it should for Gabriel and it is done in a justly manner. I suppose I am so afraid because I dont know what to expect and I dont know what Im walking into, and the unknown can always be terrifying, most certainly when it involves your child. I thank God for my sister, Lindsey, since she is the best haven possible for my little guy during this time that I have to be away from him. Its breaking me pretty badly, but I know that he is in the best care possible and that he would want me to be strong and to be his voice.
