Apparently Eric Blumer didnt believe the whole Left turn only thing. As he took the dirt kart out for the first time. But eventually he figured it out. Our first adventure at Hi Go Raceway, was when the started died as we prepared to take the track for the first heat and nobody on our grid had the right sized starter to help us. Out of nowhere a guy from another class ran up and rescued us with the proper starter. The second adventure was when Eric was running fifth in a heat, as shown, but was obviously losing power, with about 2 laps to go. He just nipped the other kart at the line. The problem? When he screamed out of the pits he caught the chain on uneven ground, pulling onto the track. It bent the chain guard and he was basically driving the kart with half the chain on the sprocket and half on the chain guard. Thanks again to Peter Egan for working on the kart after that issue!
