Apparently, Plato did not say this, at least according to several online sources, including one--that is typical of all the others--that I will post in a moment. Which brings up my pet peeve of the day: Im sick and tired of pedantic asshats who always focus on who said something rather than what was said. It seems that the kind of robotic programming to which I refer is more typical of a certain type of liberal than any other. Rather than attack the argument presented in a slogan in a poster posted on Facebook, these robotic liberals have been programmed to challenge the validity of the named source. Its a cheap and ultimately meaningless way to attack an argument, but thats typical of the liberal mentality, which is always wrong on the fundamentals--since liberalism is based on some truly evil fundamentals--and so attacks the other guys ideas not based on an argument about the truth of the claims, but only about who really wrote the claims.
