In 2012, Apple introduced the third-generation iPad, marketed as the new iPad. In October at the same year, Apples fourth-generation iPad came out. Then, the iPad Mini was also introduced, with a reduced 7.9-inch display and featuring much of the same internal specifications as the iPad 2. In 2013, Apple introduced the iPad Air. It added the new 64 bit Apple-A7 processor. In 2001, Apple introduced the iPod digital music player.
