Apple & Mince Pie Ingredients for the filling 1 kilo Apples, peeled and chopped 1 jar Mincemeat Juice of 1 Orange 2 Tots of Brandy 1 tsp ground Nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon Combine altogether and leave to soak. In the meantime prepare the dish with butter and flour and cover with sweet pastry. Trim the edges and egg wash the the pastry and put in a 160 deg preheated oven for ten minutes. Empty the apple/mince mixture into the pastry shell and cover with a layer of sweet pastry. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
