Apples partnership with IBM starts to bear fruit today, as the two firms start selling iOS apps to enterprise customers in financial services, banking, retail, insurance, telecommunications, airlines and government. The apps are developed specifically for IBMs cloud services and feature embedded analytics. Among the first ten apps available from Apple include Sales Assist for retail, Advise and Grow for banks and small business clients, and Case Advise for government workers. Apple is hoping to become a bigger enterprise player leveraging IBMs massive client list while Big Blue is looking to benefit from Apples rock-solid brand name. aapl down .5% ibm down 1% posted by Jason Brooks
