Application submissions for entry into the 2014 Boston Marathon from qualifiers will be accepted through the end of this week (Friday, September 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. ET) from those who have met the qualifying times (baa.org/races/boston-marathon/participant-information/qualifying/qualifying-standards.aspx) for their age and gender. While verification of those entries which have been received is ongoing and notices to applicants will not be issued until later next week (Week of September 23-27), it is unlikely that registration will re-open next week. With space limited in next year’s field size, individuals who have met the 2014 Boston Marathon Qualifying Times and who are interested in running next year’s event must submit their application online by this Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET.
