The EHRDSC makes recommendations to the Minister of Health with respect to rules related to access, use, disclosure and retention of prescribed health information that is accessible via the Alberta Electronic Health Record, also known as Alberta Netcare. Members are appointed to the EHRDSC by Ministerial Order for a term prescribed by the Minister of Health.
