Apply for Cary Board or Committee Deadline Nears to Apply for Cary Board or Committee FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 20, 2013 Deadline Nears to Apply for Cary Board or Committee For the first time, Cary Town Council approves limited electronic participation for members June 30th is the deadline to file your application to fill one of 28 upcoming vacancies on the Cary Town Council’s citizen advisory boards. Use your talents and take an active interest in your community on one of the following: Economic Development Committee, Environmental Advisory Board, Information Services Advisory Board, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Board, Public Art Advisory Board, and Zoning Board of Adjustment. Selected applicants will serve for three years starting in October, except where unexpired terms are being filled, and advise the Town Council on their board/committee’s cause. New this year, members may opt to electronically participate in one meeting per year. The application can be found and submitted at townofcary.org .
