Applying for a visa to India must be one of the most infuriating, annoying and time-wasting online procedures that a person can subject themselves to. -- Complicated, highly detailed forms to fill (list the countries you have visited in the past 10 years Specify the countries your grand parents are from) -- Asking obscure questions you have to Google to answer (Are you from a member country of the South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation?) And after all that, payment could not be made and they automatically delete your application and you have to fill in the entire form all over again. And the reason payment failed is because their system is down on Sunday! But they dont tell you that until you try multiple times (total 3 hours wasted) and you have to email them.
