Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. 43To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” The book of acts is of the bible among others that is for teaching, rebuking, correcting etc, Can a image of a man a teach you? but surely, the word of God can. am i right ? Some people say that the jesus image is for a reminder! a reminder of what ? God already set a written reminder for all mankind, Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Amen 1 Corinth 10:9 We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents, 10nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer. 11Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. Psalms 78: 56 Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God and did not keep his testimonies, 57but turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers; they twisted like a deceitful bow. 58For they provoked him to anger with their high places; they moved him to jealousy with their idols. No man made Image of a man or animals or something imagined can replace Gods word as a reminder. Amen
