Approaching the middle of Week 2 of PiYo and Im still LOVING this workout. Im noticing a better sense of balance and Im seeing that in addition to the physical benefits of the program, that my mind is more quiet too. For those of you that are on my personal page, you know how badly stress comes to play in my daily life. I did do a weigh in on Monday to start week 2 and was down 4 pounds, but Im less concerned with that number than I am with the way my clothes are fitting. I have a gym shirt that I LOVE, it was snug when I bought it and I wore it yesterday to explore the trail with my daughter. I was shocked to find that it was fitting with a little room to spare. The next goal is to fit comfortably into a smaller sized work shirt. My old boss ordered them in a small, which is more of an extra small when we changed shirts. I had her order mediums and then had to order larges when I had that setback in November. The large are wearing very baggy and uncomfortable on me but the mediums pull just enough that despite being told it looks nice, Im uncomfortable. I go back to work on August 1st and am determined to be comfortable in that medium shirt! And then there is the spouse noticing a change, for me that is the 2nd best ego boost when he says Ooh, you are getting smaller. or compliments the way something fits me. For those wanting an update on the health issue from a month ago from my personal page: I have not had a chance to get a second opinion. The original doctor wants to see if moving the injections to every 10 weeks will make any improvement. If after the next check up we are still in the same boat and her stand remains the same, I will be contacting Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest to get hooked up with a doctor there. There is less pain and has been minimal bleeding this round, but thats not necessarily an indicator of progress, it just means Im suffering less at the moment.
