April 1, 1700 April Fools day is popularized by British pranksters. But that was not the origin of April Fools day. There are many theories dating back to the 16th century. I really like Scotlands practice of a two day event where they sent folks on wild goose chases. In the military I was stationed at an air Base fer a shirt time. They always sent the new guy after a roll of flight line. (I didnt Fall fer that one!) In 1957 the BBC reported that the Swiss were having a record spaghetti crop with news footage of farmers harvesting noodles from trees. They fooled a bunch of em. Probly the same demographic CNN has. April 1, 2014 I won the lottery. April Fools. April 1, 1963 Soap Operas General Hospital and the Doctors premieres. Depressing stuff. April 1, 1945 US troops make landfall on Okinawa. That was no joke April 1, 1976 Steve Jobs and Steve Wosniak form Apple Computers. What a joke. They still laffing all the way to the bank. Luckily bornt in this date( as a joke to mankind): Florence Blanchshield( 1874Built up Army Nursing during WWII),William Harvey(1578), Hasnat Kahn(1958), Debbie Reynolds(1932), and Sean Taylor(1983). Yall really wasnt no joke but you did come out butt nekked which can be funny in itself. Im betting God gits tickled at all of us from time to time. Some the stuff we do us purty dumb. He made us to be His children. So theres Grace. Thats no foolin.
