April: I made it up to the hospital about an hour ago. Jessica is with me. My mom is still rather sedate and having lots of pain. The nurse was medicating her when we came in. She is really tired, both physically and mentally. Her ability to react or answer questions is very slow. She is struggling to speak up due to the soreness from the breathing tube so that too is making communication more challenging. The nurse said in general things have been uneventful today. If it stays this way through tomorrow they would talk about moving her out of the ICU. She has a very long road ahead of her so please continue to pray. Pray for comfort, pray for healing and pray for strength.
