Are We Trusting the Right People?.......... The federal government of late has not had a very good track record at… well, many things. The NSA spying scandal... IRS targeting conservative groups... HealthCare.gov... Benghazi... The VHA scandal.... But FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), one of the most classically mismanaged agencies in the entire government, is no stranger to chaos itself by far. What’s most troubling? They’re going outside the existing boundaries and guidelines to attack its own people and when questioned , Lie. Now I dont know about you but this is a bit cause for alarm overall, I cannot help but be suspicious of their motives. With all the serious problems we are facing today, the problem of big government is among the most critical. Yet solutions are not lacking; most of them are readily understandable and of them are readily understandable and of nature. The stakes are high; what kind of future can we build for ourselves unless we mend our ways? When our sons and daughters grow up and realize what we’ve done to them, will they ever forgive us? Controversies are born out of disagreements. They are bound to occur in every country, considering the fact that every opinion has a counter-opinion. However, there are certain topics that are disputatious to the extreme, owing to their sensitive nature. It certainly becomes tough to come to a consensus, as rationality and emotions dont always go hand-in-hand. Those in power try to brush these issues under the carpet, but find it hard to keep them concealed for long. It just takes a spark to ignite the debate, and soon enough, it escalates into a full-fledged divide. As the controversies rage on, they bring along a pressing need to introspect. The issues mentioned here, along with others require healthy discussions, if they are to be resolved. Having said that, it certainly isnt childs play to come to a peaceful consensus, looking at the various challenges they present. It is impossible to find a middle ground in cases like these, as both sides present valid arguments, supporting their cause. If you arent worried, you SHOULD BE. .
