Are children today somehow not as sharp as previous generations, or are we spoon-feeding them with information? While looking for something fun for Strider to watch, we stopped on Tom & Jerry. But a new Tom & Jerry. With a narrator. From the 1940s until I guess now, there was no talking. No explanation of the situations, we knew what was going on without narration, and without Tom or Jerry talking. Now they get a narrator explaining the story. WTF man. Also: this bothers me more than it probably should.
