Are these bombers or Boko Haram insurgents ghosts? If no, then it - TopicsExpress

Are these bombers or Boko Haram insurgents ghosts? If no, then it is either the Nigerian security apparatus and agencies are drastically incapable or they have always been conforming to secret orders. For me, it is unimaginable that a number of persons who operates in the context of “Space and Time” terrorize this country when the recruitment of battalion of armed-force persons on land, in the air and on sea is placed at the premium. History has had it that the Nigerian Army fought insurgency at international level and came back victoriously. What then is the problem in the case of Boko-Haram? I sense it is all politics. They play politics with the lives and properties of the people by employing bombers to disorganize a threatening aspect of the country, so that they could have a ground for argumentation and basis to mismanage the public funds. At the same time they would claim to be patriotic. But if the love of the country and the inhabitants is what they claim to have, why must they play politics with the lives and properties of the same people the claim to love? It has not been heard that Boko-Haram killed any of the top government functionaries neither have we heard of the killing of any of their children. It has always been the defenceless common people, and poor security agents. The activities of the acclaimed Boko-Haram insurgents overtime have made it somewhat clear that they cannot be adjudged as patriotic Muslims or Northerners, neither can we can we confidently argue that they are really against Western Education. Their dispositions have attain its height as they have proven being inhumane to every religious fold. It is also worthy of notice that they have done little harm to the sector they are supposedly against. By implication of the literal meaning of the name they are carrying, they have set forth a critical ambiguity. If these Boko-Haram combatants are really not answerable to the government, then let them help us in taking those thieves in Aso Rock off there till eternity so that younger generations could take over and see to the affairs of this our dear country. The shortage has been so much, and the common people have always detrimentally been at the receiving end. Everyone in the country, excluding the defended leaders, is in fear of being recklessly killed. But what I believe is that they cannot be defended forever. Away with all speculations and permutations, it is logically incorrect and sad that Federal Government has not been able to successfully subdue or subjugate the spate of Boko-Haram insurgency in this country. More Boko-Haramic is the fact that they claim to have identified the location of these insurgents, yet they could not capture them. What then becomes the role to be played by the air force men of the country? It has always been propagandas. Federal Government claimed to have brought foreign intelligent agents, with the sophistication credited to these people and the pretty advancement of technology, they were not able to leave behind any success. Does it mean technology has also failed to do this, or what does it imply? It is all propaganda. The budget provisions for 2012, 2013 and 2014 made it explicit that insecurity is costing us so much, yet, no improvement seem to be forthcoming. Indeed, this is sad, devastating, and catastrophic. Sometimes it is really sad to be a Nigerian, because nothing is really working out, especially for the common people. It is disheartening that the Boko-Haram insurgency lingers hitherto, and which is liable to linger ahead in the face of these double-dealers that we call our leaders. More sickening is the fact that they seem to have always felt unconcerned in their conducts and reactions towards the problem, but in words, they do. Words are not enough in this context, what is significantly needed is pragmatic actions, we need a method that works, not empty words that would do nothing in a thousand years, because words cannot in itself effect anything until it is acted upon. Propaganda and highhandedness instead of transparency had indeed long ago taken pre-eminence in governance in the country, and the bad effects are everywhere. We need no one to tell us that a disposition is propaganda before we know it. All they are after is preparation towards elections, and any other thing is unimportant. Diverting the public funds into personal accounts is their utmost interest. The worry is indeed enormous as innocent lives are brutally overtaken by death in the hands of these insurgents almost every day in the country. The consequences are there, and the catastrophic effects increase every day. Even ward councillors are not for the interest of the people, in spite of the fact that they are considered the closest to the people. No one thinks of standing for the common good of the people when it comes to politics and governance in this country. That is why no politician deserves being called a honourable, they are not honourable, because they are all double-dealers. It saddens the mind that even the upcoming generation is likely to be more bad than it is now. This is because it has become a culture that anyone who is in the public office must steal and also must have no passion for the well-being of others who should ordinarily be their focus. A great number of persons go to school today only to have a qualification that could enable them contest elections, and not for self-realization, actualization and reliance. Only a few thinks of what he or she could do to better the society. Foreign and domestic investors are scared of losing their lives and assets, thus, they flee for other parts of the world for safety, which has acutely catapulted the level of unemployment in the country. This has in turn brought about many other social misconducts and criminalities and increases the existing ones. This is the time we need our activists in action. But it is problematic that they seem to have also been enjoying the swags of politics, thus, have nothing to say. All they post to the world is empty words’ analyses. How then are our problems going to be overcome? Mendacity, conspiracy and lack of solidarity will never allow anything to work against these people. Are we not doomed?
