Are you 21 years old or older and looking for a volunteer job that serves children and their families? UNM Hospital’s Mariposa Pediatric Hospice is seeking five to 10 dedicated people to join the volunteer staff. You must be willing to volunteer at least eight hours weekly Monday through Friday. Those who volunteer in the program, which is the only pediatric hospice in the state, will do a variety of jobs such as respite care in the home to allow parents time to recharge their energy or get to appointments, arts and crafts projects and regularly scheduled hours working in the office.
