Are you a protester in St. Louis? Are you an opportunist looter rioter looking to vent your (justified or unjustified) rage against excessive authority? Listen up. cnn/video/data/2.0/video/bestoftv/2014/08/17/nr-sot-ferguson-michael-brown-parents-rally.cnn.html As a person who is against the police state. As a person from Saint Louis, as a person whose hometown is Ferguson.... I ask you to protest the right way. Lets change the rules of engagement for police gun usage. Lets change the rules about open protest in the streets blocking traffic so that its allowed. Lets not try to protest at 2am when no one is listening or awake anywhere else. Lets all stand up and PROTECT our neighborhoods and businesses from looters when the cops cant or wont do it. People of Ferguson could have turned out to fight the looters... they chose not to... thus resulting in cops and a curfew. If you dont want police patrolling, and smacking down law breakers.. then you as citizens must step up and stop them. Police state is bad.... but looting and stealing from fellow citizens is WORSE. Being a rioting looter is just as bad as being an oppressive cop..... both are trying to ruin someone elses life, trying to exert their power over someone else unjustly. Hiding behind Michael Browns death as an excuse for violence, is like cops hiding behind the badge as an excuse when hurting someone.
