Are you a racist? The majority of the States and the vast majority of the Founding Fathers were abolitionists and had a plan to get rid of Slavery, built into the Constitution. At the time it was an economic and political impossibility to do so when The Constitution was ratified. Hopefully you can understand that. There are a handful of good history books that outline the built in plan, in The Constitution, that in, if memory serves, 20 years to get rid of Slavery. It didnt work but the underlying scheme was there. But you know how our elected Democrats are. You know how hard the Democrats fought against the Republicans, in their Democrat fervor to protect Slavery. Personally, I believe in a COLORLESS society and as such I am vehemently against any kind of discrimination most especially affirmative action, the most heinous of all.
