Are you falling for this generational ploy of division? So Abby Huntsman, daughter of a millionaire and privilege spouts a tone deaf and wholly insensitive view about Social Security and working people over the age of 50. She claims that we should all work until we are 75 because people like HER wont get their fair share when they come of age for Social Security! Apparently she doesnt know that the current system of employment already discriminates against people over 50, much less a person of 70. Her entire premise of opinion is based on a false notion that Social Security is some government giveaway to lazy old people! Yet it is people in her age range that dont bother to participate in Mid-term elections, where we, people over 50 are fighting to retain rights and sanity in our public policy. This is a deliberate attempt to divide us through generational ploys and it is despicable for any Democrat, Liberal or Progressive to buy into this garbage! The bottom line is that the easy cure for any gap in the system is to simply lift the income cap on the wealthy.
