Are you interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics? Do you know the Science Behind Zip Lines? Through a grant with NASA WVSGC, WVU is Offering an opportunity to learn the Science Behind Zip Lines for 22 Underrepresented* Students. When: Sunday October 19, 2014 from 9:15 am to 5:00 pm Where: Adventure WV (Near Coopers Rock) There is no cost to participants, transportation will be provided from WVU to Ad-venture WV, and lunch will be served. It is a great opportunity to learn an application of science for zip lines by setting up an experiment using sock monkeys and also by actually riding a zip line.
