Are you interested in finding summer or temporary project work in the Taranaki region? Are you a postgraduate student in Engineering, Food Tech, Sciences, Marketing, Design or Commercialisation, with a track record of success, who would be keen to undertake a 6 month paid R & D project in Taranaki between 01 Sep 2013 and 30 Sep 2014? Or are you in your 3rd or 4th year of an Engineering, Food Tech, Sciences, Marketing, Design or Commercialisation degree, with a track record of success, who would be keen to undertake a 10 week paid summer project in Taranaki between Nov 2013 and Mar 2014? DISCLAIMER: This is not an offer to find projects for all applicants. The intention, in seeking expressions of interest in Taranaki projects, is to try to match Massey students to actual projects that may be available in Taranaki (some of which are subject to successful applications for government funding). No guarantee is given that projects will necessarily proceed, or that students recommended by Massey will be assigned to projects, until such a time as students are signed into contracts with employers, which is at the discretion of the actual employer. We are especially interested in students with experience/skills/knowledge in the following areas: •Meat and/or Biotech •Engineering – especially Process Engineering, Energy Efficiency, Packaging, Refrigeration •Food Processing Technologies •Food Product Development/Marketing – Asian languages are also valued •Animal Nutrition/Health and Animal Nutrients Analysis •Marketing/Commercialisation – especially if combined with knowledge of construction/wood industries Note: Students must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to be able to participate in the programme.
