Are you thinking that just maybe you want to come but youre not sure? You havent seen your classmates in years so why come now? Well, I, too have been one of those classmates for the last 25 years of reunions if Im remembering correctly. I attended the 5 year at The Legion Hall in Richwood, and the 10th at Scotch and Sirloin in Marion. How could 25 years have passed? How can I show up when I was discouraged or broken? When I am not at my perfect weight like Im sure I would be. When I havent talked to you all for ages? Surely who would miss seeing me. The fact is I have missed all of you. What else have I missed? Plenty. I miss catching up with those I was close to and missed out on possible connections with those I havent seen. Ive missed out on seeing classmates we have lost. Giving true hugs of congratulations to those when they have gotten engaged and married, landed the job of their dreams, purchased cars, homes, boats, pets, graduated with that hard earned degree. Ive missed out on tHe joys of sharing tales of children, grandchildren, family and friends. Likewise, Ive missed the chance to hold a hand, give a hug, let you know I truly do care and pray for you all as youve lost a job, home, a broken relationship or even harder- a child, grandchild, spouse, parent, sibling or other family member or friend. Friends- time is marching by. If youre in town or going to be, please give us a chance to reconnect. To those that cant attend- you will be missed. Please lets all keep connected on this site. To borrow some favorite words- I pray your joys be many, your burdens be light- and may God hold you in the palm of His hand until we meet again!
