Arguably the Japanese are the coolest people on the planet. (see, David Sedaris, When You Are Totally Engulfed in Flames, short story, Bah Bah). Japanese soccer fans at the World Cup wear Samurai Blue to cheer on their team. They carry blue towels, wear blue shirts and jackets, wear blue hats and pants, and wear blue face paint. They also carry blue trash bags, which helps predominate blue in the stadium and alternates as rain wear. But, when the game is over, Japanese fans use the trash bags to.... wait for it... wait for it... PICK UP TRASH. They have a practice of honoring the host stadium by leaving the stadium cleaner than they found it. Now that is uncommonly cool!
