Especially when its accompanied by Shortness of Breath, Dizziness, pain that radiates to the arms, left shoulder, back, neck, jaw, or stomach, extreme weakness, sweating, indigestion, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), and/or Nausea &Vomiting. GO to the Emergency not the ImmediateCare or the Minute Clinic (not for chest pain & discomfort)....you need to go somewhere an EKG can be performed. You may leave with only a diagnosis of heartburn(indigestion), but if your CLEARED from a medical diagnosis of STEMI (Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction), in other words HEART ATTACK...youd be doing pretty good! We are seeing more and more young people having heart attacks especially in the African American population with this American food and reduced exercise lifestyle it could happen to any of us.
