Armed Robbers Locked Up In April 2011 three people were arrested thanks to the combined efforts of the Neighbourhood Watch, Security Companies and SAPS, following an armed robbery in John Rumble Street, Somerset West. We have just been informed that all three robbers received a sentence of 15 years for the armed robbery, plus another 8 years for attempted murder and a further 10 years for other offences. This is a great result and the actions of our NHW members for their part in getting this result was fantastic. So, whilst the justice system can be frustratingly slow, in the end justice has prevailed.
