Army Recruitment: All interested applicants Camp Bancasi, Butuan City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is in need of new 700 soldiers in Mindanao. The Army Recruitment Center for Mindanao is set to conduct a pre-written examination for its Officer Candidate Course (OCC), Officer Preparatory Course (OPC), and Candidate Soldier Course (CSC), both for male and female, from June 14 to 26. Lt. Col. Jose Leonard B. Gille, commanding officer of the Army’s 4th Civil-Military Operation Battalion, and concurrently spokesperson of the Army’s 4th Infantry Division, said applicants for the OCC must be a natural born Filipino citizen, unmarried, and without a child, at least five feet in height, 21 to 24 years old on the start of training.
