Aronovski and Handel obviously know nothing of Biblical faith, and worked hard to inject a save-the-planet theme into the Noah movie. The innocents are the animals, and Noah is a deeply troubled sociopath, who believes that God wants to recreate the world without humans. The antagonist is Tubal-Cain, who is an industrialist/capitalist portrayed as pure evil. Ham, the son whom Noah cursed, is portrayed as a misunderstood and ignored middle-child. Somehow, they were able to insert all of the secular woes of modern man into an ancient Biblical narrative (even including a modern welding helmet:) They turned the man God called the only righteous man on the planet into a raving, murderous maniac. The bad guy was the innovator who claimed that creation was made for the use of man. What fun to watch Hollywood twist itself into a pretzel to enhance market share.
