Around 50 militias of Tala jamguda came to District Police - TopicsExpress

Around 50 militias of Tala jamguda came to District Police Headqaurters and expressed their willingness to join mainstream and avail all the benefits of different government schemes for their development. Due to threat posed by Naxals they were supporting the Naxals but their for the long time made them to realise that it is not helping them anyway. Naxals use them as a shield and in any case when Security Force comes Naxals leave them in lurch. Whereas they had provided shelter, food and other logistic articles to Naxals , in return they got nothing. The recent exchange of fire with Police with Naxals in champajhola also made them to take the decision of surrender. Champajhola is a nearby village of Tala Jamguda where there was an exchange of fire of Police with Naxals few days back. They were also motivated by the fact that the militias who had earlier surrendered were leaving a peaceful life and their children and family members were progressing well. District Police welcomed them and distributed reading articles to them with a message that they will ensure that their children study well and the family progresses, District Police will ensure that the villagers get all the benefits of different governmental schemes . Dsitrict Police also wishes to send a message across the other groups who are still supporting the Naxals to leave their fold and lead a peaceful and progressive life and every help will be given to anyone who comes to join mainstream.
