Arran is settling in now and enjoying long walks in the forest to the beach with Lottie Pod, Zula the mallinois x from spain, and little Luisa the bod x from spain. He was very unsettled for the first few days, a lot of accidents in the house and playing very rough with the other dogs. I thought he would never sleep, he wanted to play all night as well as all day, so it was a pretty exhausting few days and I was beginning to wonder just what I had done. but through it all, he would come to me sometimes and just lay his head on my lap, looking up at me with a question in his eyes, or in the morning peeking round the shower curtain at me just to make sure I hadnt slipped down the plughole. I was amazed that the very first day he learned to sit to get his treats just by copying the other dogs, amd now he sits to command and sometimes comes up to me to do a sit just to see if he gets a treat. He seems to have the hang of toileting in the appropriate place now and ask to go out. He is a big gangly playful loving boy who is doing his very best to be good as only a pod can (already he can take the lid off the bin, and he is the perfect height for even the upper kitchen cupboards. He is the most amazing boy ever!
