Arrived at hotel and met by grumpy man on reception. First impression not gods but then a lovely girl came to swap cot for a single bed in the room and did the hotel a massive pr favour. She had a chat with both kids whilst sorting the bed out then told us where to go to get complementary drinks, sweeties and raisin snacks on the floor above. Not only that but she then went away and came back with 2 dishes of jelly babies and some bags of raisins. Now thats customer service for you. Staff like that are worth their weight in gold!
