Arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa after a 16 hour flight from Atlanta. Someone told me that it is the longest flight for a plane with two engines done in the world. It is indeed a loooong flight! Met a young lady on the flight headed over to do ministry as well...had a nice visit with her. My OMS ministry team mate Jose Banales flew in from the US...his flight was over three hours late, so it made for a long two days of travel for all of us. South Africa is six hours ahead of Eastern Time. We are staying with Stan and Marianne Groome at the home of their son and family for the night. Its delightful to meet new friends who love the Lord and are such gracious hosts. As I say so often, Big Kingdom, small world. Today we take a City Bug bus (about 16 passenger) for 4 hours to another city to meet Larry Weil, the Field Leader for our Mozambique OMS team. We get to see an African Game Park for a day...a real treat. Well also be praying and prepping for the training we begin soon. Thanks for your prayers!
