Arrived on the Mount of Olives just in time to hear the evening call to prayer as I ate the tuna sandwich purchased at Ben Gurions Tel Aviv Airport before a 3 hr shuttle ride and a short taxi ride from Damascus Gate. The Israeli shuttle company is not taking passengers up the Mount, not a good sign, and it seems mine is always the drivers final stop. The tuna was the best thing Ive eaten today; it takes real talent to make airplane food taste that bad! More exciting news like this to come...
