The Arsenal appear on the verge of their next summer signing amidst reports that the club have had a £5.5 million bid accepted for Chelsea target Adrien Rabiot. The French youth international has made his name at Paris Saint Germain, and after a loan spell at Toulouse at the end of the 2012 2013 season, he made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 for the champions last term. Capped three times at U21 level, Rabiot is out of contract next summer, and French publication RMC claims the mega rich Parisians have accepted the bid. However Italian giants Juventus and Roma are also keen. However its The Arsenal who are now the front runners to bring the teenager to England, and Arsene Wenger will now hope to persuade the player to sign personal terms at The Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have already made a number of significant signings this summer, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy all moving to north London. Other have gone the other way, with Bacary Sagna one of those to leave Arsenal, but the transfer window has so far been considered a success for the club and it could get even better in the next couple of weeks. The reports also come on the back of the Gunners opening their Premier League campaign with a win, although there is the chance of a transfer battle with a well known rival also linked. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has also been considering a bid for the player, according to recent reports with Twat Face aware of a potential bargain in the shape of Rabiot. The Blues are another club to have spent well this summer with Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Felipe Luis all arriving at Stamford Bridge ahead of a probable transfer challenge in west London. Despite claiming that all his transfer business is done, Rabiot would offer Mourinho some cover in both midfield and also defensively if required. But, hell have to move fast if he wants the player at Chelsea and not their domestic rivals......
