Arsenal get MORE bad injury news from Gnabry and Flamini I really cannot remember Arsenal, or any team for that matter, having so many players on the sidelines through injury right from the start of the season. We have had Vermaelen, Monreal, Sagna, Arteta, Wilshire, Rosicky, Walcott, Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanogo, Ryo, Zelalem and Diaby out for various reasons already in this campaign. And just when it seemed to be getting a little bit better for Arsene Wenger, with the return of Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla, the manager has been hit by more problems. Le Prof has revealed on Arsenal that the Gunners are going to have to face the in form Liverpool at the Emirates tomorrow without Mathieu Flamini and Serge Gnabry. And these two have become really important to Wenger’s plans this season, so it could cause a big problem. The French midfielder has added the steel that many fans have been demanding for a long time, while Gnabry has been a revelation and has saved Arsenal from missing the Ox and Walcott too much. Wenger said, “Basically we have just Arteta back because he was suspended. Gnabry, who was not available for Tuesday, will not be available again. [Flamini] is a short term injury, he could be available for Manchester United. He is out for Liverpool and Dortmund.” If Arsenal lose these next two games, all the media will fall on us like a starving pack of wolves, and you can bet that no one will mention the crippling injury list that we have, so it is up to Wenger and the players to ignore it as well.
