Arsene Wenger keen to bring striker to the Emirates. Arsenal are prepared to break their club transfer record in the process of signing Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain according to The Guardian. The Gunners are keen to splash the cash this summer after finally being released from the financial constraints imposed by the necessity of paying back the loan the club took out on building the Emirates Stadium. After a number of frugal years, the club are keen to make a fan-pleasing signing and have identified Higuain as their man. Higuain has reportedly become disillusioned with life at Real Madrid after increasingly finding himself on the bench in favour of French forward Karim Benzema. With next summer’s World Cup finals tournament just around the corner, it is believe the Higuain is keen to secure first team football as he looks to book his place in the Argentina national side
