Arthur Robert “Bob” Hoffman, aged 70, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at Munster Community Hospital. Bob was born July 2, 1942 at Rensselaer, Indiana, the son of Arthur and Ida (Ausema) Hoffman. Bob attended school at Kniman and graduated from DeMotte High School. He was employed at The Hamstra Group for over 45 years where he was vice president. Bob was a member of American Reformed Church and also a member of the Jasper County Merit Board for seven years. Bob married the love of his life, Jane Zylstra on November 1, 1963. They were married 49 years. Bob and Jane were the parents of Kevin, Keith and Denise. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jane; sons, Kevin Hoffman, Keith Hoffman; a daughter, Denise (Duane) Gluth; four grandchildren, Kristopher Gluth, Ryan Gluth, Shelby Gluth and Nichole Gluth; and a sister, Lorraine (Paul) Henrichs, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ida Hoffman, two infant children, Kimberly Renee and Robert Scott Hoffman. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Reformed Church, DeMotte, Indiana. Funeral Services for Bob Hoffman will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at First Reformed Church, DeMotte, IN. Interment will take place at the Holland Cemetery.
