As 2014 comes to a close it has been a year where the obvious still exists in my mind, my heart and my soul. It has been a year where friends continued to mend brokenness, fires reignited internal sparks and all my children stepped up and out and allowed me to walk in their greatness with them. Signs brought forth more healing and tears brought more opportunities for appreciation of what is here and now. Priorities shifted, but just far enough to allow the light to reflect on them, allowing me to do the same. Talents were exceeded with the support of loved ones and brought hope in hopeless situations. Like flowers in spring love blossomed and then transitioned through the seasons of Autumn, Winter and Summer, gathering strength to bloom again in new brilliance with the coming of the new season. New friendships brought a renewed strength, old friendships rekindled lifelong dreams. Love was multiplied but only by giving and happiness peeked through the clouds on dim days. Life has taught me, in no uncertain terms, it is not short as everyone believes. Life is long in our mortal timeframe. It endures beyond our own stamina, in spite of our own resistance and in order of divine direction. Life doesn’t exist because of us; it exists for us and as such, will propel us forward no matter what our circumstances. Have every moment in this life be the best moment. And so it goes without saying that life and love goes on as we welcome in new opportunities in 2015 and beyond to Accept, Appreciate, Acknowledge and be Alive.
